The SOLE reason this is the best transformers movie is because: it's smaller. Less characters to focus on, the plots scaled down, and the action isn't as overwhelming.

Not a lot happens until near the end... And I'm okay with that. This movie is a perfect slow burn, very personal and small scale, future movies in this franchise should look long and hard at this one as a gold standard of the series
