Even tought this is a adaptation some details of the story could be changed in order to make more sense according to film mood, because, without that, the story feels rushed and the characters progressions doesn't make sense.

I am so glad the Ryan Phillippe experience was relatively short lived, he is so awful in this. I just struggled to find anything that pulled me in with the plot or characters, most are insufferable and show no consistency.
