Anyone bitching about a lack of narrative in an action movie are the kind of people would complain about sudoku's lack of emotional impact it's a fun movie if you just want to see a badass girl to kick some completely morally justified ass

The script for the first half of this movie consisted of grunts and groans. Clunky everything, but kudos to King for her stunts, as well as all the stunt-performers on this film.

A cracking action movie that turns the damsel in distress trope on its head and starts as it means to go on, having tremendous fun as Joey King murderizes her way to the bottom of her tower to face a scenery-chewing Dominic Cooper

The plot is very shallow and cliché, but it seems self aware and it actually works in favor of the entertainment of the film. The fight scenes are beautifully shot and choreographed.

This was a fun and action packed movie. Right from the get go, they didnt waste time. Within 5 min, there was a fight scene. The princess character was funny and likable. Highly recommend.

Pretty much straight up terrible. Apparently a 5’3” person can kill 100 people in 30 minutes and never get tired. She repeatedly defies all physics. Plus the plot is horrendous.

Loved it! Action packed from start to finish. Very humourous, it reminded me of Xena the warrior princess series that I love. The film gains more of a storyline halfway through. Amazing fight scenes throughout.

A Princess movie with no prince. Wonderful and refreshing! King epitomizes "self-rescuing princess" and goes a step beyond by being a ruthless kingdom saver. May they tell tales of her for years to come.
