it was not as bad as people said. I think many were expecting this movie to emulate the original. I had a problem with the story line and unanswered questions. left little to the imagination and no intrigue.

They should have just asked Chumlee from pawn stars to play the movie. Poorly executed very bad storyline. Mila did an exceptional job though aside from her everything else didn't make sense.

I watched the movie and pleasantly surprised by how funny, unexpected, and downright badass it was. If you're looking for a funny movie with sick action based in a monster ridden world: this is the movie for you.

The humor and irreverence was fun. I like Ian McShane, and even though his role was minor his participation was a cherry on top. Certainly not high cinema or great story telling … just some fun.

Bad movie. This Hellboy film was worse than the 2004 and 2008 movies. The setting about him being the son of King Arthur and the comedy in the movie was kind of horrible and boring.

I actually really enjoyed this. Its darker than the other version but still has that same kind of humor to it. Also felt the cast had better chemistry overall. I didnt "hate" the previous cast but it never felt quite right. This did.

The Hellboy we are suppossed to see on screen finally arrives...we needed the darkness of the character and the cast was great, the visuals were amazing. Great movie to enjoy the real Hellboy. Why all the hate? IDk.

Great. If you've read the comics, you know Marshall understood them and made a great movie. Better than Del Toro. Harbour too: xcellent job. Don't believe the hate. If you live Hellboy, you'll love this movie.

I liked it. Pacing was good. Could have used a bit more back story but it worked. Visually awesome. I haven't read any of the comics but the script and acting and effects seem solid to me. Deserved a much better rating.
