Loved this one. I thought it was well done with good pacing, a great buildup of suspense and introductions to the giant ape. John Reilly was an odd choice for his role, I thought. Just a lot of fun and one I've even watched several times.

The visual effects are astonishing, this movie looks so good. On the downside I think is a over dramatic and the over use of the slow camera makes this cringy, but that's it, I like it a lot.
